According to a Schirmer comment of 8/6/08, the Local-Mus contract is "extended" t end of the year: I assume that means Negotiations have not formally begun with Management.
?Why isn't this IMPORTANT info BOLDLY posted in the display cases? ?Will the Leadership use this "time out" to meet and talk with members who bothered to submit serious suggestions in that yellow box by the lockerroom? ?When is the next General Meeting, so we can discuss what we should be demanding from Management, and be given a heads-up on what Management will be demanding (taking) from us?

The museum negotiations have not begun yet. Due to the city contract being extended the museum one is extended as well, and has not expired
Correction: Look at comment on city wide contract.
